Beautiful Voices

Park Hyo-Shin

Known for his husky voice and mostly sad songs, Park Hyo Shin has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. He is so talented and that remains unaffected by the comments of critiques.

My personal favorite song by him is either 'Lost' or the very powerfully written 'Wildflower'. If you have not heard any of his music, please listen to it. Its so beautiful and memorable. The songs are very moving and hit you right in the heart. Honesty, I could talk about him all day because I love him and his music so much.

Kim Hyun Joong

Wow, where do I begin...Hyun Joong is just so awesome. He can sing really well and he's good at dancing too hah. I think what is best about him is how he sings his songs. Whether they are sad, apologetic, mad, etc., he always has this really good beat or rhythm and his voice is always phenomenal.

Lee Taemin (of SHINee)

No matter what anyone is arguing about Taemin, there is one thing they cant argue about. His great vocals. Even though in some magazines he is called 'scandal' for having an electric cigarette...that doesn't change the fact that he can in fact sing very pretty. And he has great hair while doing it XD. What makes him even more likable other than his voice is his lovable personality. Now i'm just getting into my own opinion hahaha.

Kim Jong Dae (Chen of EXO-M)

Although he is underrated, Jong Dae can sing so amazingly. I mean like, when I first heard him sing I was so taken back because it was so surprising to hear that beautiful voice come out so nicely and not pitchy at all. In my opinion, he just might be the best singer in all EXO. It's kind of sad that people underrate him because he can sing so indescribably good.

Jung Taekwoon (Leo of VIXX)

Although he's shy and sweet, don't let that fool you when it comes to him singing. I use to think that Ken(of VIXX) had the best voice out of the six of them until I heard Leo sing 'Voodoo Doll' in the recording studio. I was like wow, he's amazing! Taekwoon has such a pretty yet powerful voice that could amaze anyone.

Tigress

Short Story of Tigress

Tigress was meant to roam free and independent. She would always be alone and only mind her own business, never asking for help or giving it. One day Tigress found Lion, and she adored him. Together, they roamed around and never cared for anyone else. This was very strange for Tigress, but she liked how good it felt to love and be loved. Alas, Lion was only tricking her the whole time. Tigress was so devastated when she found out, and decided to roam alone for the rest of eternity. She was a very sad and lonely little Tigress. But she met little Brown Bear as he was walking down a dark forest path. "It's not safe there," Tigress called to him. He didn't listen. "Please, don't go down that path. Evil things are there, Brown Bear". Little Brown Bear finally listened and went to Tigress in the path of light instead. "Thank you, Tigress" he said. They decided to stay together. Tigress and Brown Bear lived happily, they helped anyone that needed it and stayed together on the path of light.

Fish

Zebra Danio

So my zebra danio, Ares, reminds me of busy or athletic people. He constantly swims around his tank and hardly ever stops. but there's something else about him that reminds me of people. Like any of us, fish can catch diseases. When my blue fruit tetra had the ich, I noticed that Ares changed. He swam less and kind of just stayed in one place and would only swim every few minutes. At first I thought he was sick too. After my blue fruit tetra died, Ares was still acting irregular(at this time he was in an isolated tank with Camaro, a baby bumblebee platy). I was very worried. After all the other fish were gone, Ares remained this way until about a week later. He went back to his old routine. Then I was wondering what was wrong with him because he definitely wasn't ill or infected. What had happened to Ares? Once I found out what it was, I was slightly shocked because he had been depressed. A fish being depressed? I didn't really see how that is possible due to their very tiny brains, but I had seen it firsthand so I suppose that was the case. This makes him very similar to us when someone we have lived with for almost our whole lives die.

Bumblebee Platy

My bumble bee platy, Camaro, often stayed at the bottom of the tank all day and would sort of swim in circles some times. He was a lot like people with anxiety disorders. When I see people with anxiety disorders they are either super shaky and try to do a lot of stuff or they stay in one area and kind of sit there awkwardly. When my other fishies tried to 'socialize' with him, he got scared and went all crazy around the tank. Now, this is very strange because bumble bee platies are just fine in regular aquariums with the same type of fish as were in my tank. So why was he like this? Was he just sick? No. Actually I found out that he was stressed out a lot and needed specific care for only him. That was really weird because I have never ever seen a stressed out fish before... But It made lots of sense. His stressed nature made him like humans as well because we get so stressed that we eventually can die. In his case, he lost his fish slime and got attacked by ich.

Fruit Tetras

I had three fruit tetras: Markie(yellow), Buddy(blue), and Magenta(pink). These fish had the least personality out of every single fish I have ever had. They just did things that you would imagine any fish would do and they never made me think and never surprised me. Even though they were very pretty, they were boring fish.

Tiger Tetras

I have no idea if they are called tiger tetras, but I had a fish that had tiger stripes and he was my most favorite fish. His name was Stanley and he had so much personality. He made me laugh a lot because he would do such silly things that you would never imagine a fish to do. His favorite place to be was inside a pineapple I had in the tank, he loved it in there and would only come out during the day. When the ich struck, Stanley tried to live through it. I could tell he was going to leave because he lost his personality and began to just stay in one place and stare eerily. Then I realized that the ich had eaten the top of his head off....I was crushed... It was such a sad moment to see the inside of his head and see how disoriented he was. Once he died, I couldn't flush him down the toilet. I had to bury him so that he would always be here with me. He really was a good fish...

 

Anime!

Black Butler

So Black Butler is my favorite anime. CIEL IS THE BOM.COM! Haha..anyway, I love the relationship between Ciel and Sebby. I think its adorable because they slowly start to grow on each other. Also I love the whole demon butler type thing.
If you don't watch black butler, its basically about a boy who's parents died in a fire when he was young. So Ciel signs a contract with a demon (Sebastian) to get revenge on the people who wronged him. 

ATTACK ON TITAN

One of the most well done animes ever. I love Armin (: (sorry if I spelled that wrong). BUT LEVI IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I think the titans are really creepy, especially the ones that smile liplessly.....

Soul Eater

I love Soul Eater, it was the first anime I fell in love with. Death the Kid is my favorite character because of his weird personality and his OCD. I think Crona is a sweetheart, and I cried when he 'died' hah.

Sad Songs

Fast Sad Songs

When most people listen to music, they often don't really care if the lyrics have meaning or not. Sad songs that have a fast pace are more popular because they don't sound sad and some people may not realize that it is sad. But when someone really pays attention to sad song lyrics, they feel something from it that a song with  no meaning cant give them. Whether its a good feeling or not, people tend to like the meaning more once they focus on it.
Most 'cool' people that talk about music don't talk about meaningful lyrics. Its mostly just about people doing drugs or having intimate situations with girls they don't care about. To me, that music is pointless because without meaning, what is it really? I don't mean to offend anyone, this is just my opinion and I hope you don't get offended.

Slow Sad Songs

Slow sad songs are my personal favorite type of music. Piano is really beautiful to me and when combined with heartbreaking lyrics, its the best thing ever to me haha. Such as Park Hyo Shin's Wildflower, it's just beautiful. Slow sad songs sort of show a desperation to me, like a desperation to see someone that left and never came back. The biggest thing for me that makes this so awesome to me is the fact that some popular bands sometimes can make a great sad slow song. I listen to a lot of this type of music, and to hear a popular musician in America make a sad song that has powerful meaning in it really makes me happy because a lot of them don't do this. It makes me happy to see that America doesn't just care about necessarily being 'cool'.

There is so much more to life than caring about what other people think and listening to music that doesn't mean anything. Just do what you like and don't care what other people think about it. I left the 'cool' crowd a long time ago, but people still have respect for me and still talk to me. Please stand up for what makes YOU happy, not THEM because it will make your life so much better.

Snow Flowers

Beauty of Snow Flowers

 

 

Flowers in general are very pretty to look at. The saddest flower is the snow flower, frozen and lost. Most people don't think much of anything about these flowers because they aren't the prettiest flowers out there. But when someone looks at a snow flower, it is much like a lonely person. It has a depressing sense about it, but what wouldn't look that way if it was standing alone in the cold. Snow flowers remind me mostly of the longing every human has inside them for "warmth", meaning to us "love". 

When anyone looks at a desolate desert and sees one animal, for instance, they think of loneliness. The desert scene is more of a lost love look to me because when a person gets too into love and stops caring for themselves, they are trapped there, unknowing of how to help themselves.
Snow flowers kind of look also like someone who's energy has become sapped and undiscoverable. But what makes them beautiful is how they can stand on their own through this extreme temperature. Lots of people have a hard time standing alone because of our natural need for another human. When a person is around people their whole life then they are alone for a long period of time, this can result in a drastic change in their personality or even result in death due to the stress of dealing with no one around.
Over everything, snow flowers represent the broken heart dealing with a major loss to me. When most people lose something they love, they become very sad and get labeled as a broken hearted person and tend to be alone. The snow flower is alone, but still standing with a sense of hope that is more powerful then anything else. This hope is in every hurt person, every human being has some kind of hope within them, and that is what keeps us alive too. This makes us and snow flowers so beautiful that we can stand forever in the cold with hope as our only warmth.

Love and Hate

Love and It's Wrong Turns

So as we all know, love can be a beautiful thing. It's so kind and gentle, yet innocence isn't part of it anymore. Innocent love is the most sweet kind of love anyone will ever witness. But any kind of love can go wrong. Love can become narcissism if a person doesn't truly love the one their with but that other person truly loves them. Even loss of self worth can happen if you love the other person more than yourself. If love isn't cared for properly, it turns into such an ugly thing and can haunt your every step. Most young love ends not so well because they don't take care of it properly or one of them doesn't actually care for the other. A lot of young lovers think they are in love, then sadly realize that their feelings were completely different than the love they gave to the other person. Although, tons of young love does last too.
A sad part of love is when people grow apart from one another. Being from different backgrounds, age groups, religions, or even ethnicities can cause trouble. But, if your love is true, it will pull through those differences and become beautiful. I know a lot of people whom have lasted through huge differences, so there is hope for every kind of love. Love can be for anything, though, and that's where we mess up. For example, the love of money or material items. Don't get me wrong, I think I love all of my things as much as anyone and I would hate to lose them, but too much love for these things can hurt you in the long run.

Hate and It's Lies

When love goes wrong, it unfortunately usually turns into hate. but the odd thing about hate is how it comes to happen. It can even blossom from love, and it usually does. I find this very strange because love starts off with such good intentions. When someone first falls in love they can never imagine hating that person. Hate can just come from a sudden bad thought that your conscious doesn't get a hold of. Your mind can lie to you a lot, it can tell you things that aren't really true then you end up believing it and act on it with hate. I know this firsthand because of my old jealousy issues. Jealousy is just a fancy word that creates hatred. When I first started loving my boyfriend, I was a  crazy jealous person. But what people don't realize is how much hate that makes. I think I hated every girl that even talked to my boyfriend, and even started hating the guys he hung out with because of how much he enjoyed them. I was full of hate and my mind was full of those lies that the people were trying to take him from me, and I realize that now. Lots of things can create hate, please try to realize it before you become consumed by it because once you let it in, it's hard to get over it.

Reflections

River Reflections

Looking at yourself from another point of view can be really interesting and helpful if you know what you're looking for. When you look into a river, you're looking at yourself from another persons point of view. But, what are you looking for? Are you looking for more than just a face? Maybe something internal that shows itself through you're eyes. When I look at myself in a pond or any body of water, I usually look directly to my eyes to try to find something other people may not notice. Usually I only find eyes staring into mine, but other times I can find a hidden story there. I guess this is a more soul searching part of people that we don't often think about.

Rooms of Mirrors

The room of mirrors is used to see yourself from every point of view that others see. One mirror could reflect anger while another reflects a broken heart. Its basically just the many moods of every person that some people can and cannot see. For instance, on the inside you could be feeling sad, but you reflect it as anger. In all honesty, only human eyes can show the truth. Not even words are fully honest. Eyes have no ability to lie to people that look into them. For the people that don't take the time to look into others eyes, I'm sorry that the truth won't be revealed to you.

Window Reflections

The window reflection is only an analogy that I use. Say that a person is looking though a window and another person is on the other side. Both of their features get mixed together and create one person. To me, this shows that we all have the same feelings at the same time and all we need to do is look at each other as one and not opposite people. The window that divides us isn't really a division at all, but more of a way for us to realize the similarities in us all. When we are only alone looking through it by ourselves, we only see one small part of us. I'm not sure if this still makes sense to anyone or if I'm just rambling on now XD Have a great day/night (:
